Message to the prospective students
I am asking all candidates applying from abroad to:
1. have enough knowledge and understanding of sociology,
2. be able to show the reason why the candidate wants to study in our department,
3. have enough ability to read, write and communicate orally in Japanese (at least JLPT N1),
4. have learned sociology or an adjacent discipline at bachelor's or master's course,
5. find scholarship or any kind of financial support by yourself,
6. contact
the Admissions Assistance Office, Kyoto University at first, before contacting me.
[Caution] I will retire from the Graduate School of Human and Environmental Studies at the end of 2024 school year. Therefore, I can accept the candidate for the master course until April 2023.
