Message to the prospective students

I am asking all candidates applying from abroad to:

1. have enough knowledge and understanding of sociology,
2. be able to show the reason why the candidate wants to study in our department,
3. have enough ability to read, write and communicate orally in Japanese (desirably to be able to write in Japanese),
4. have learned sociology or an adjacent discipline at bachelor's course,
5. find scholarship or any kind of financial support by yourself.
