Research areas Stochastic Analysis
Keywords stochastic analysis, mathematical physics, differential equations
Themes We analyze mathematical models describing phenomena in random media to understand rigorously the law controlling the phenomena. Main objects are random or deterministic Schroedinger operators.
For example, we analyze its spectral structure by using analytical methods (the operator theory, the Fourier analysis, the complex analysis, the distribution theory and so on) and stochastic methods (the Ito calculus, the Malliavin calculus, the large deviation theory, the results on the stochastic oscillatory integrals and so on). Moreover we intend to improve the fundamental methods.
