|Themes||My research addresses the English language education at advanced levels, particularly in graduate education. The main goal of my research is to investigate effective methods for the English language education in Japanユs graduate programs. I have developed a special course to help facilitate effective learning of the English language in the context of studentsユ research and special projects. Emphasis is placed on the ability to present and discuss their research/work in English in a real world-like situation. Promoting advanced English proficiency nationwide requires involving different sectors and resources. My research therefore includes conceptual planning of a national institute for advanced English education.|
