TSUKIURA, Takashi Professor
|Graduate School Department /Course /Field||Human Coexistence/Cognitive and Behavioral Sciences/Cognitive Science|
|Undergraduate School||Division of Cognitive and Information Sciences|
|Research areas||Cognitive Neuroscience, Neuropsychology, Experimental Psychology|
|Keywords||Memory, Aging, Social Cognition, Emotion, Face, fMRI, Neuropsychology|
|Themes||The main topic of my lab is to invesitgate the neural mechanisms underlying human long-term memory. As research techniques, we are employing 1) functional neuroimaging (fMRI) for healthy participants, and 2) neuropsychological approach for brain-damaged patients. Recently, we have been interested in not only the basic memory processes but also in the effects of healthy aging or socio-emotional processes on human memories.|
