Themes The main topic of my lab is to invesitgate the neural mechanisms underlying human long-term memory. As research techniques, we are employing 1) functional neuroimaging (fMRI) for healthy participants, and 2) neuropsychological approach for brain-damaged patients. Recently, we have been interested in not only the basic memory processes but also in the effects of healthy aging or socio-emotional processes on human memories.
