Until 2023, the undergraduate school had five divisions. 'Division' provided above refers to the faculty member's former affiliation.
Research areas Inorganic Material Chemistry, Solid State Physics, Optical Property, Luminescence, Phosphor
Keywords Inorganic material, Ceramics, Glass, Luminescence, Rare earth, Photonic materials, Solid-state Lighting, LED
Themes We study the fabrication and characterization of optically functional inorganic materials like ceramics and glasses, which construct the photonic devices. Special attention is paid to the structural analysis and characterization of various properties of solids, and relationship between structure and optical properties, which are directed to design of novel photonic functional materials for the fiber telecommunication, the solid-state lighting and efficient photovoltaic generation.
