To prospective international students who are interested in joining my laboratory, you must know Japanese and have an interest in Generative Grammar.
Research areas Theoretical Syntax: the Minimalist Program, interrogatives, displacement. Computational linguistics: computational modeling of linguistic theory, information extraction. Language Teaching: applications of syntax and computational linguistics for teaching languages.
